CapellaTM 3 is designed for local manufacture in low volumes closed to the site. The consistent application of modular standard steel components in the turbine design allows for flexible supply chain and transportation on standard trucks.

Key critical components – Coils, Blades and Bearings will be procured from global top notch suppliers.

All load carrying parts in the rotor/drive train are casted ensuring optimum characteristics.

The turbine and all components are designed for sturdiness and resilience towards defects and environment. Elimination of high failure components and redundancy in the electric system ensure highest availability.

Advanced and proprietary lattice tower design with high base enhances stability and strength of the turbine structure and raises energy production with hub height up to 120m.

CapellaTM uses its own innovative high efficiency CyclosTM modular ring generator based on a Ultra Direct Drive Design.

The generator is naturally cooled and is suitable for even challenging climates.

Focus on ease of maintenance with use of maintenance free bolts, full converter system down tower and in-situ replacement of electric components.

Designed and certified for 25 years fatigue life.
